Generations Gap: The Next Generation pulls into the lead Well, it is official. Star Trek: The Next Generation will have its own movie franchise without the old crew propping them up. November '96 is the proposed opening date of Star Trek 8 starring only members of the Star Trek: The Next Generation crew. Generations is doing so well, the green light was put on early. Bono in Batman Forever—Bull! Bono of U2 will not be appearing in Batman Forever despite rumors of his upcoming film debut. Joel Schumacher, the director, would love to have him included but they haven't thought of a good "concept" yet for even a small role. The odds of Bono being in Batman Forever are slim to none. Goldeneye goes to filming January 9 The newest Bond flick, Goldeneye, will begin filming January 9. The new Bond, Pierce Brosnan, has been recovering from back surgery, but should be ready to go by this date. Highlander 3: The Magician--Vanishing Act? I have heard nothing about Highlander 3. Did it open or what? It was supposed to open last month, but if it did it was one of the quietest opens I've ever heard of. Anyone with additional info will be appreciated.
